ITC are proud sponsors of the Climb 2015

Independent Trustee Company is delighted to support the MyIBA annual charity event for the sixth consecutive year.  Join MyIBA and fellow brokers, Insurance Industry professionals and friends and family on the 18th of July in Westport and climb Croagh Patrick. All monies raised will go towards Pieta House services, to aid in the awareness and prevention of self-harm or suicide.

Details of accommodation, the online donation page and registry links are available here.

No entry fee, no minimum amount to be raised - just turn up, climb and raise as much as you can for Pieta House.

Unable to attend?

If you are unable to attend but would like to help raise money for Pieta house, here is an idea that is simple and can be done without a foot placed on Croagh Patrick!

Below is a link to the formal sponsorship card for the Climb 2015! If all broker offices in Ireland were to encourage all staff to donate a minimum of €1 we would have raised roughly €5000 from this effort alone.

Simply print off the below sponsorship card, share around the office and return to Hazel Rock, 87 Merrion Square Dublin 2. Cheque or Electronic Transfer payment can also be made just give Hazel a call on 01 6613067.

About the MyIBA Charity of choice 2015

Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide opened over nine years ago with Lucan in County Dublin the centre of operations. In the intervening years we have seen and helped nearly 17,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and opened up seven subsequent centres, three in the greater Dublin area - Ballyfermot, Tallaght and Finglas and further centres to cater for the rest of the Country - Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Galway and Tipperary.

As it has been from day one, everything is free of charge and our staff are fully qualified and provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service for people who are experiencing suicidal ideation, people who have attempted suicide and people who are engaging in self-harm. A doctor's referral or a psychiatric report is not required.

Our vision is to have a centre within 100km of every person in Ireland and we're well on our way to achieving this with plans in place to open three further centres in Donegal, Waterford and Westmeath. We're passionate about our life-saving work. As 90% of our income comes from fundraising events, we rely heavily on the support and encouragement of our volunteers and friends of Pieta.
