Job Description

The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ITC Legal, in particular, the administration of property transactions on behalf of Independent Trustee Company Limited’s self-administered clients.

The role will involve liaising primarily with external solicitors and other third parties as well as our internal Property Services team, helping them deliver a first-class service to our Financial Advisors and Clients as part of a busy team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist with pension scheme conveyancing transactions
  • To assist in completing outstanding registrations and deal with registration queries
  • To schedule and track deeds and arrange storage
  • To ensure that all requests are processed in a timely manner
  • To be responsible for maintaining client files to highest standard
  • To ensure that our service standards are upheld by adhering to our procedure manual
  • To assist with the administration of files relating to deceased clients
  • To assist with the administration of pension adjustment orders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in client facing role or administration role is essential
  • Good understanding of the basic principles of customer service is essential
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and in any in-house systems is essential
  • Third level qualification with legal content is beneficial
  • Previous pension or legal experience is beneficial

Salary

€28,000-€30,000 per annum
