The Fallout from IORP II and QROPS

The ongoing uncertainties with IORP II and Brexit provided two hot topics for our most recent webinar, ITC Property Pre & Post IORP II and QROPS. Due to the high demand of registrants, we held two sessions on Wed, 1st May, which were presented by ITC’s Eoin Hassett and Stephen Dooley. 

To begin, Eoin provided the 126 listeners with a roadmap to navigate the complex requirements of transferring a QROPS benefit into an ITC pension, putting them in the best position to provide the most accurate advice to their clients. 

Stephen followed with a full breakdown of the potential consequences of the IORP II Directive if it is transposed in its current form, what it would mean for advisors and their clients’ property investments, and how property purchases can be facilitated irrespective of the outcome.
